  2. Turn the console right side up
  3. Lift the outer shell to reveal the inside

  1. Heat up the soldering iron
  2. Place the GPU on the motherboard
  3. Apply the solder to the chip
  4. When it is connected to the board, wait for the solder to cool down

Step 6

  1. Check the CPU chip for errant solder
  2. Remove the errant solder and reapply the solder

Step 7

  1. Put the Xbox 360 back together
  2. Plug the power cord and the cables
  3. Turn it on
